Featuring New Music from the Wildflower
Composers and friends of Relâche, including
Eight Point Turn and the Creamer Etudes
Relâche celebrates its long-standing tradition of collaborating with up-and-coming composers by revisiting some of our old friends, and welcoming some new ones. We’ll pay tribute to works we’ve recorded, including Gavin Bryars’ Creamer Etudes, Guy Klucevsek’s Swither and Eric Moe’s Eight-Point Turn; we’re also excited to perform the music of Wildflower Composers, a collective of musicians creating some of the most vibrant works we’ve heard in a while: Chloe Smith’s Glacier and Hannah Sobel’s the bay by the ridge and Blue round out our return to celebrating the work of composers of every tradition and background.
